Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16, she had already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her performance on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The other Oscar nominated film starring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra was associated with numerous noteworthy projects, both in the United States and internationally. The projects include British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. Her other roles include being an official jury member for both the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
